The Jungle Book!
After 6 long weeks of rehearsals, the show is finally here! The kids were so excited to perform in Disney's "The Jungle Book" this year at the High School. We are so proud of them and all their hard work.
Jared was so happy after 3 days of auditioning to get one of the lead roles as Mowgli the mancub. Here he is with the two cutest bees in the show.
Clarissa also got the part she wanted as one of the coils of Kaa the snake.

On the nights that Jared and Clarissa were not Mowgli and Kaa, they were elephants. Everyone did a great job and had a lot of fun.

What fun! So, question, You mention these are done at the High School, is that just a location for them, or do the students produce and direct the show of kids from the community? The program Teresa has been doing is through the recreation and parks. You pay some money and everyone is in the show. They still audition for the parts though. Just wondered if it was a little like that.
